Hey everybody, how you doing? It's Remi here. From Team MV I am the user success Lead here at member vault, and I'm back with another solo episode. So a couple of weeks ago I did an episode where it was all heavily focused on our beginners are newbies, I need people who are or have just come to member role and don't know where to start and don't know what the right thing is to do. First, I gave you lots of pointers around where you get started, if you're a beginner, this week, what I want to do is focus on those of you who are a little bit more advanced, you kind of know what you're doing. And this episode is really just to give you some, some pointers and some areas that you can think about if you're at a position where you're trying to optimize what you already have, and to make your products and services even better using the member of our platform. Now, there are going to be quite a few new people coming over to the platform, Hello, and welcome. And you may already have a course or a program or workshop or something already built on another platform. So what I would like to let you know is that if you are able to download your existing content on another platform, and download it as a JSON file, that is a file that ends dot j s o n, JSON. I don't know why I'm saying that in a French accent. But if you're able to download a JSON file, then you can literally pull your content down. And then you can upload that into member vote, which means you don't have to spend hours copying and pasting and dragging and dropping from one platform to the member of our platform. If you are able to download it into a JSON files, then you can very easily transfer your content over without any stress bother or hassle. So and uh, not a lot of people know that this is possible that you can actually import, you can actually import your courses and workshops and, and memberships and things like that from another platform, but you absolutely can. And you all you need to do is to download your existing content into a dot j s o n file. Okay, so that was my first hunky dory Tip of the day as an advanced technique that you might want to try. So where are we going to go next. So inside a member vault, if you are thinking about jazzing up your content, making it more unique to you, one of the things that you can use is C S S, which is an abbreviation for Cascading Style Sheets. And this allows you to do really cool things on the page inside of the code. Now we have UC who is on our team, and she's a CSS expert. And I'm gonna drop her links in the shownotes. Actually, in the show notes, there's going to be one link is going to take you to the blog. And I'll make sure you have use these links there. She has some free stuff, and she has some cool programs that you can sign up to whereby she teaches you how to do cascading style sheets, CSS, to do cool features like adding boxes to the page or making your sales page that really funky or adding images in the background, all of this cool sort of stuff that really amplifies and gives your MV account a really personalized and professional feel.

3:53
Then I'm going to add that link for you to go check that out. So you can get some more information information around how you can really jazz up your MV accounts. To have it looking however you want it to look and styled however you like your page to be styled. So that will be in the show notes. So do go and check that out. Another thing that you can do, which is a little bit more advanced, is if you're somebody like me who has a whole load of different programs and workshops and courses and things like that, then you can use the member vault feature categories to put all of your individual products into easy searchable categories. And this means that when a customer or visitor comes to your, your hub, your portal, your member vault account, they can actually just by selecting on the arrow which is on the page,

4:50
which categories they want to look at. So I'm looking at mine right now. And I've got like a workshop category so all of my mini and my short training programs and sessions

5:00
Under workshops, they're all put together under the product category workshops. So all the workshops are in one place bunched together. And my user has the ability to see just my workshops, or just my memberships, or just my services, right, they can pick and choose. And you can do this by going into your individual products and naming which category you want them to show up in on your main member vault page. And I'll drop a link again, on the blog page, to how you set this up how you can use the categories to put your different products into different searchable categories on member vote. So I will share that link for you as well. So do click on the link in the show notes. If you want to learn about product categories, and how you can set that up for yourself.

5:57
The next thing that you can do, which is a little bit more advanced, is you can set up Google Analytics. And you can embed that into your member vault. And this allows you to be able to get some trackable data of where people are clicking around inside of your member vaults, you can see which pages are popular, which pages are unpopular, right. And this can inform and give you decisions around

6:24
what's working, what isn't working, perhaps you need to go back to a page and add some images or, you know, rework of the copy and the language is on that page for the pages that are not getting a lot of traction, right, you get to see where people are spending time inside your member vault. And this all helps you to make better decisions about what your audience wants, and what you can be putting inside of your member vault to really make your customers and your visitors happy. So installing Google Analytics is another great tip. And if you wanted to do this, you would have to log into your Google Analytics or set one up. So just searching Google analytics into a search engine engine, either login or sign up for your own Google Analytics account. And they will give you a code that you copy out of Google Analytics and you bring it into your member vault, you go into your settings in your dashboard, and then into custom JavaScript, and you copy that paste there. And that will start tracking for you, your customers movements around your site and you can log back into your Google Analytics to check the data about what is happening inside of your member vaults. If you haven't done that yet, that might be a little task, you want to set yourself to go and have that set up. Because you know data is where you get your knowledge about what's working and what isn't working inside your member vault. Another advanced thing that you can be doing inside a member vault is using gamification to keep your users active involved competitive, right? We have leaderboards that are inside a member vault so people can see how they're doing on the leaderboard in terms of how much work are they doing and completing inside of your account, right, you can create all sorts of games around that you could give away prizes, you could use that to unlock bonuses for people who are doing the work, right, they're getting their points in their EP their engagement points. And they the ones that do the work, they get extra bonuses that you could give them. This could be anything, it could be a secret video that you have done, it could be some extra tips, it could be a freebie that you send out to them. It could be a money off voucher for another course or another program, right? Whatever it is you want to give them. But you can do this by using gamification. I'm also going to share a link to how you can gamify your quiz answers as well. We've got a really cool knowledge base doc document on this which I'm going to share for you looking at how you can use quiz questions and quiz answers and gamify that inside your member vault. These are all more advanced little tips and hacks and things that you can be adding into your member vault to really optimize it for your use and for your user experience.

9:32
Another thing that you might want to do is you might want to use affiliates. Now on your navigation, you will see we have an affiliates tab a tab and if you are not aware we have affiliates inbuilt into the member vote system and this means that you could create a space for people who want to help you to sell your courses and your workshops and in exchange Vegas

10:00
It's paid for the amount of referrals or people that they've sent your way that have bought your programs, and it's all trackable, inside a member vault, they get their own special link that they go off and use. And this is a great way, for audience building, it's a great way for getting new customers in and referrals into your business, by using the affiliates that are already inbuilt into your MVP product, and it is super simple to use. So what I'm gonna do is, I'm also going to drop a link into the blog for you about how you set up your affiliates. It is super, super easy. It's not complicated, it's not hard.

10:43
And I encourage you to do this, particularly if you already have an existing course, let's say you already have existing customers who have gone through your programs or your workshops before or they're in your membership. They know what it's like to work for you to work with you to be trained by you or to be coached by you, or to learn from you, right. So they would be ideal candidates to share their experience with their network or their groups or their friends and their circle, and drive people back to your business. Because they've experienced it. They know how good you are. They know how good your training and your workshops are. And they're speaking from a place of authority, and sharing a link. And anyone who books that comes through their link means that they will get paid as well. So it's a win win for everybody. And it's a really nice advanced feature that you can use inside of member vault. A couple of others before we wrap out today are things like a custom domain. So if you're currently using the VIP member vault.com link at the end of your member vault account, but you wanted this to perhaps be your own domain name, well, then this is totally possible for you to do. If you've already bought a domain, you can transfer this over using the custom domain process. Or you could go and buy your own custom domain, which might be your name.com, or your business name.com. And use that instead of the VIP member vote. So this is a nice way where you can up level your account so that it feels more personalized, it's on your own domain. And you can then send people to your own domain. And that will automatically convert them into member vote. So I'll make sure I share the custom domain link as well on the blog for you. If this is something you'd like to set up, but you didn't know how to do it, we have some brilliant step by step guides that will walk you through how to do all of this. And then the final tip I've got for you today, all around, I suppose up leveling and advancing your member vote account

13:02
is all about pre selling your products. So we've got some nice articles around this. And I'm going to include those in the blog for you as well. But pre selling is a brilliant way to figure out if something's going to work or not right. And the idea being is that you sell something before you've completed it or before you've made it. Or perhaps you've only made one module, but you're pre selling the whole course in its entirety, to see if your module works. And this is a great way of testing an idea out to see if people are going to buy from you. And Aaron has created a whole template on this, that you can, when you create a new product, you can upload the template. And inside of there, there was so much advice around how you can pre sell there's some strategies around what you need to do how you can do it. And there's copy in there that you can use. And I love the the idea of let's say I was selling pre selling a course that wasn't going to be available for one month's time. And I start selling it now right as a tester to see if it's gonna work. Then Aaron has given some ideas in there about the things that you can do. For those people who do buy early, and they're waiting for your course to launch in a month's time. There's all sorts of different things that you can do. Like using an old some old course material that you've got, you could put that in there as kind of content that they can have as a bonus for buying early. Or you could create a whole, you know, early bird module where you give them some warm up questions or some warm up videos to keep them excited and engaged about what's coming up. You could either

15:00
Then pre sell your course. And then you could use something like the member vote quiz feature to ask questions of the people who've bought early about what they're expecting in the course, what it what is something they would really love to have answered in this course that they're gonna get in one month's time. And they can literally help you mold out and build out the course before it's even built. And what then happens is you're putting answers into your future product that you're pre selling, that is actually answering the questions of the people who have already pre bought that product. And they come into your product in a month's time, they have their questions answered, they feel satisfied, they feel like they got what they've paid for what they wanted. So you could use, you could use the whole pre selling module to actually survey and garner from the people that have bought early, what it is they really want, so that you can give that to them in the final product, right? It's super, super clever. I'm gonna put the links in for the pre selling a product in member vault link for you. Please do go and check it out inside of your member vault account. And when you do add a product, you can check this out about how to pre sell a product because it's super, super clever. And it can also save you a lot of time, right? There is nothing worse than having an idea for a course. And you go and spend weeks or months making this course. And you've got all of these modules and lessons done. And then you go to sell it and nobody wants to buy it or you have no buyers.

16:57
it's disheartening. And when you pre sell, what you're doing is you're saying, Hey, I've got this idea of this thing I want to do, who wants it. And perhaps in the presale, you do it at a discounted price, right using member Volk coupons. So people, the early birds, they perhaps get discounted price. But what you do is you get to prove the model, before you take your time to build out all of these modules and lessons, because you know, people want it because people have actually paid money for this thing. And this is why pre selling a product in member vault is so so powerful. You could map out your modules, which will all be hidden away, but they can see what's involved in the course or what they're going to get in the course. But it doesn't mean you have to put all the content in there because you're pre selling the idea of what they're going to get. So I hope that you found this episode super useful about some of the advanced things that you can do inside a member vault. I'll be back again next week with another individual strategy episode for you around some of the things that you can do inside a min vault. We are in the collab if you have any questions about this, please do come and tag us in the in the membership collaborative Facebook group and we can have a chat around some of this. But be sure to go and click on the link in the show notes which will take you to the blog and I will have links to all of these different topics that we've talked about in this episode for you. So you can easily go and get the answers to these things and start playing around and using up your beautiful member vault accounts. All right, everybody, you take care and I will see you on the next episode.
