Hello and welcome to this fast track call. We're just gonna give it one more minute for people to join us and then we're gonna get started. If you want to say hello in the chat, let me know your name and let me know where in the world you are. That'd be lovely to get to know you. We will get started shortly. We have Zoey from St. Lucia.

We have St. Lucia today. I'm guessing nice weather. I'm in the UK. And it's a bit cold, a bit cold but heater on the blanket on my next I've got my headscarf, then on my microphone headscarf keep me as well. Today, what are we talking about today today we are talking about integrations and setting up integrations on your member vault. So if you're watching this on replay, this is going to be really useful for you. If you haven't yet done any payment integrations or email integrations, that is what we are talking about today, and give you the overview of where you go in your MemberVault portal to set all that good stuff up and sharing lots of links with you today. And I will make sure all those links go into the replay page or so that if you're watching on replay that you can get the same information as everyone here on the call. So it's a bit rainy in St. Lucia there but it's expected this time of year. Oh, rainy season, hmm, raining season. It's been a bit rainy here too. So I think we're gonna get started. And then people will jump in, and they can catch up on the replay. Or join in with us when they get here.

So for those of you don't know, my name is Remi, I am a user six less user success lead at member vault, my role really is to make sure everyone is getting great success out of using the platform. And if anyone gets stuck, then I try and help them understand how to, to power through any problems that they have. So that they can build really successful MemberVault accounts so that they can sell their products to the world. I am a MemberVault user myself, I have been for many years, I love platform, and I run my own business off of member vault as well. So I'm very well used to using the platform. So we are doing these fast track calls. And we are tackling areas to help you get set up in your account. There are lots of member vault users who have an account but haven't yet actually started. So this is why we are doing these calls. And this week, we are helping you get familiar with your account set up. And we're looking at the payment areas and the email areas. And I'll talk a little bit around why setting those things up are important. And we're going to look in the back end as well. So you will see where the boxes are. So you know that you can can set these up yourself. And I would ask you, by the end of this call if you have not yet set up your payments, set your PayPal and your stripe up. Or if you've not connected your shopping cart that you might have externally into MemberVault that you do that you get that set up. And if you haven't yet connected your email, I would like you as a task by the end of this call to at least go off and have a little play and start setting up your your emails and making sure they're integrated into your account. So I'm going to screenshare let's, let's go into our demo account and have a little look see.

Remi Oduyemi
That's the wrong it's the wrong screen share, I think. All right, let's stop that one. There we go again. Let's try again. Since that's the demo account on another screen. Try it again. Nope, it's just not doing that it's not playing ball. Okay, so let's just type in. Alright, so we can go into the admin area. So this would be the admin area as you would see it and the first thing we're going to look at is we're going to look at payments and how we integrate payments. So with MemberVault You've got a couple of options right? Your first option is you can host your your sales page externally so outside of member vault, you can host it you know somewhere like Thrive cart or Sam cart. And then from your external tool that you're using as a checkout tool that can then be connected into your member vault using something called web hooks, which I'll show you where they are. And web hooks basically connects your outside cart to your inside of your member vaults. So when somebody buys externally, they will then get Access internally to your member vault, when the second way that you can set up payments with MemberVault is inside of MemberVault itself. And if you want to set up payments so that MemberVault itself takes the payments for you. So you don't have to use an external cart, you will need to have something set up like PayPal or stripe, you can have one of those or you can have both of those, you don't have to have both. So if you only have a PayPal account, and you don't want to set up a stripe, PayPal will work on its own. And if you only have stripe stripe will work on its own. I personally use both because I like to give people the option. I do sometimes think if people have money that's just setting their pay pal, sometimes it's easier for them just to make a purchase because the money is already there.

And with stripe they have to you know get the card out and put their card details in and make a purchase. It's just a bit of a longer and longer version. But I offer both options on mine. So I have my stripe and my PayPal, both connected into member vault. And so it's up to you which option you want to use whether you want to use the internal shopping cart with member vault, then you need PayPal or stripe set up. And if you want to use externally, then you have to have your shopping cart set up externally on you know something like Thrive cart, for example. So if we are considering the internal option of where you want to set up your PayPal and your stripe, you will go all the way down to where it says integrations, I'm just going to move this up a bit, tap on integrations and then tap on payment. And this takes you into our payment screen. So if you have got a Stripe account already set up, you'd simply click on this button connect to stripe and this will take you into stripe and they will ask you to log in. And that will be building a connection there for you of how you can connect your stripe to your MemberVault account. And it's all on screen instructions that you can follow nice and easily. And I will jump into the chat in just a moment a link to the stripe integration. So there's step by step guide for you which we have in our knowledge base. So I'll share that link with you so that you can use that as a guide to help you set up your Stripe account and integrate that and connect that to member vault. And then further down the page, we have the Pay Pal setup. So if you have a PayPal account, you would need to log into your PayPal and get these details, the password and the signature.

And again, I'm going to drop a link into the chat in just a moment for you. Which will again walk you through how you can go into PayPal and get that information and you would come back here into the integration section. And you would add those details into these boxes. And then you would save your paper settings. And that would mean anything you create. Now any products that you create for sale inside a member vault that somebody can buy, and you will be able to take payments using PayPal, or stripe. Depending on which of these you go for. Or if you've used both. If you have both setup, it will give the user the option. Sort of whichever way they they want to go, they can input their card details in or they can pay with PayPal. So this is where you would go to set up the payment. So what I'm going to do is I'm just going to stop the share quickly. I'm going to grab those links off the other screen that I have you and I'm going to share those links now in the chat. So payments. Next I'm going to share three links, I'm going to share the knowledge base around setting up payments with PayPal. I'm going to share the knowledge base around setting up payments with stripe. And I'm going to share payments if you are using a shopping cart externally. So if you're using Thrive cart, Sam cart, something like that, I will share some links there of how you can connect those an external landing page. So I'm going to pop those into the chat now for you. If you have any questions around having questions around payments, do pop those in the chat, anything that you're unclear of. And I've just realized it hasn't given me directly.

It's given me Okay, I will grab those three links and pop those in. It's given me the knowledge base links. But I will pop those in in just a minute for you. So any questions around setting up your payment integrations, pop those into the chat, let me know. Zoe's When it comes to sending receipts after payment, that would have to be set in PayPal and Stripe. Yes. So that would be something you would do over in in that platform stripe, you can send receipts and you can send or invoices. And that's just within the settings, you click on the user name, and then next, we'll give you some options. And then you would select invoice and that will automatically send out an invoice for you with pay pow. Invoicing is possible. I don't know if they do receipts or not. You may have to have a little play around in Paypal and see if, if that's something you could find. But MemberVault itself doesn't send out receipts, if that's sort of what you're thinking it would be the payment provider that you need to go to to do that part of it, if that makes sense. All right. So we're gonna grab those links in just a minute. You're very welcome, though. Because I copied the links in the knowledge base, but it's given me like a high level link, not the actual link. Oh, I can see it. Maybe I can grab it that way. Copy Link, let's see if this will work in chat. So this is Pay Pal. Is that a good link or not? Yes, that's the good link. There we go. Let's grab this stripe link. Copied. Let's get the stripe. So these are really, really good. Articles that walk you through how to set up your payments on PayPal and Stripe. And then the third link is if you are using an external sales page or landing page, and you want to connect that to member vault, copy that link and share that in. And again, if you're watching this on replay, I will make sure all of these links are on the replay page, which you can find at member vault.co forward slash Fast Track call. And I'm going to share a link on web hooks as we're talking about payments. So this is how you would set up a web hook for your product. So you may need to use a web hook if let's say you are using an external shopping cart, and somebody purchases on your let's say they purchase on Thrive cart and thrive cart will send an email to your email provider to say you've got a new purchase. So you've got a new buyer. And that's essentially where it would end. But in order for that buyer to get into member vault, we use something called a web hook. And so that is connecting your email. So let's say it's active campaign, or MailChimp, it would connect from your email into MemberVault that says, Oh, you've got a new buyer, let them have access to your digital products that you've created. So it's kind of like a three tiered jump. So if you are using an external cart, then you are going to want this link. And I'm just trying to copy out now. All around web hooks and this is how you set up your web hooks. So this is a really good link if you don't know about web hooks and don't know how to do that. Let's go back into here. Ah, so he's asked us about that now.

Remi Oduyemi
I was I had the other screen on so I didn't see your message. Sorry. So I'm gonna say web hooks. Here we go. When it comes to external carts, would web hooks be necessary to add person to product or env? Yes. And this article is the perfect one. walk you through how to set up your web hooks. Or righty so we are going to move on to email and we are going to look at email integration so so I'm like too many screens open. I'm sorry. All right, let's set that one and a screenshare again, and we're gonna look at the email integration to screenshare hopefully it's white screen. Yes. Okay. So we're going to stay on the screen there but has actually no screen is showing integrations Sorry, I'm having screen nightmares today. So integrations and then we just done payments here and then we're going to click on Email Now, when you come into the email screen, this is where you would connect your, your email. So whoever you're using, we've got Active Campaign you'd go into, you'd log into your email provider. To get this information, you need your URL, and you need your API key. And it will look pretty much like this in Active Campaign, if that is an email provider you're using, you would enter some directions, here you go, click on Settings, and then you'll go down to developer. And in there, you're gonna have your own unique URL, and you're gonna have your own unique key, you would copy that out, and log back into MemberVault into integrations, click on emails, and you would pop that information into those boxes. So I've got a link for you as well, because there are so many integrate your email service with MemberVault.

There's so many different email service providers. This document is really useful for helping you get set up with connecting your email inbox. Alrighty, let's get that link in the chat. Stop this screenshare. Here we go. So this is emails how to integrate your email, any questions about integrating email into member vault? Let me know or let me know if you've already connected your email. Now, the reason why you'd probably want to connect your email is once your email is connected. So let's say you have a buyer that comes and buys directly from your MemberVault account from your checkout, maybe use your paypal or your stripe. When you set up actions, and you connect your actions to from your email to member vault, you can do a couple of things. The first thing is anytime somebody buys on your member vault, you can add a tag. So this is a unique sort of identifier or a reference, it could just be the name of your product. So you know, anytime somebody has bought this particular product, today, you're going to be assigned with this tag, that tag gets imported into your email service provider using something called actions. Okay. And we're not going deep into actions today. But I'm gonna I'll put a link also for actions how you can set those up. But what you want to happen is that person is I tagged and identified and their name is input into your email service provider. This means that you are then in a position to a email them directly, you can be set up an automation so that every new buyer will get the same welcome email. Or see if you want to put them into like an email sequence, or you know, maybe it's a weekly email that they get or a monthly email that they get from you, you can do that from connecting your email into MemberVault. If you don't collect your email into MemberVault, then you will have to do that manually or externally. Whereas this makes it all automated beautifully. somebody buys an action tags them and puts them into your email list. So that you can that will then either trigger some sort of welcome automation, or it will add them onto your mailing list so that you can, you know, regularly email them. So it's really important to just in terms of onboarding customers, and making them feel seen that you know, they just made a purchase and then and then what you know, it's really nice if they get an email from you. It could be just a basic welcome email, it could be any a welcome email that has their username and password on so they know how to log back in, it might have the link to the product so they know where to find it. I mean, how many of us have bought courses and then have no idea where to go to? To log in? Right so and just in terms of really good customer service, it's a great idea to integrate your email into member vault.

So any questions around emails and email integration or payment integration as that is what we are covering today? Let me know in the chat, I'll hang on for a few more minutes. And if there's no questions there, we will wrap I'm going to grab another email link whilst I'll wait. And if there was no more questions, we will wrap up early today. Let's grab another email. Knowledge Base So this one's good. This one's had to integrate your email service with member vote. So if that's something I just shared, let's have a look. Yeah, it is. So that's one I've just shared. And then the other one I wanted to share with you was to screen share, because you know, this is information I'm sharing here is the information that you can access as well. This screen share. So this is the knowledge base, all I'm doing is I'll just put the keyword in what I'm looking for, I've just typed in email. And then I'm going to hit on enter. And it's frozen, striking female, and then it drops down with a list of emails. So what emails what email service does MemberVault integrate with. And you'll see here, there is a list of the programs, I'm gonna copy this link into the chat as well. So you can click on these links, and it will give you some information about how you connect your email to your MemberVault. All right. Let's stop that shit. And so let's say email link. What emails service does MemberVault integrate with? So once email service is that this is only once email service is connected, would the signup confirmation? be forwarded via email as well? Yes, but it is something you have to set up MemberVault doesn't ask if I'm understanding your question, and then vote doesn't send any confirmation emails at all, it would be something for you to do. Once somebody buys they see a Thank You screen. And, or a you know, congratulations, you've your use of sex successfully, you know, got this product, and it has a username, password, that's all they would see in terms of what the member bolt system sends out. That's just a screen. And that's that goes away. So if you wanted to set up a confirmation email, that would be something you would do, you would integrate your email first, and then you would set up an action. That was the other thing I was going to grab was it actually set up a simple action that says whenever somebody buys this product, tag them with this moniker, whatever that is. And because your email is integrated, that will put that user into your email for you. And then you would have to set up an email automation inside of your email provider to send out some confirmations or you know, thank you for buying type email. So you would have to do that. Let me grab a quick link for actions had to on that one,

Remi Oduyemi
how to trigger an email, that's the one that's gonna be better for you as a how to trigger an email in your email service using actions. And this will give you a step by step guide of how to trigger an email. Oh, and there's a four minute video on there but I did walking you through it. So rather than listen to me, rabbit on there's a lovely video on that page. And that you can watch of how to do that as well say actions. There we go. All right. Any more questions before we go today on email integration and payment integration has that been helpful for you? Today's me?

Remi Oduyemi
Okay, it's pleased to hear it. Alright. Well, there's no other questions and it's a quiet session today. If you're watching this on replay if you have any additional questions, do pop them beneath this video. Or leave comments on the replay page. And I will be checking those so I can help you there. Otherwise, we are back next week, Tuesday at 4pm. I think next week we're talking about branding. I haven't checked the list yet. I think it's branding and how to make your MVP look really nice and lovely and make sure you Using all the right areas of your MemberVault account so until next week have yourself a fantastic rest of the week and I will see you soon take care
