From humble beginnings making $500 websites over 10 years ago, Kronda’s obsession with marketing has led to a love of pairing technology with great marketing strategies. At Karvel Digital, her passion is helping mission-driven service-based business owners leverage great content and marketing automation to build a business that supports your life.
She's passionate about technology, systems, and documentation - things most CEOs find boring until they realize it's the key to a peaceful business. When she's not talking about technology, she's probably with her wife, showing someone photos of their dogs, going for a hike, or doing dog sports.

Hey Kronda! 👋 We'd love to know -- where in the world are you? What do you like about it? Dislike?
I live in Portland, OR. I love living in a postcard. The Pacific Northwest has some of the most beautiful landscapes and includes desert, ocean, mountains, and everything in between.
I don't like how white Portland is and our homeless crisis.
What’s your favorite way to create content? What’s your favorite way to consume it? Why?
I love getting inspired by conversations I have with clients and other business owners and turning those insights into videos or blog posts.
I'm not picky about consumption but I probably consume more video than anything, with podcasts second.
Describe your dream client.
Our dream clients are underestimated business owners who are amazing at what they do and know email is a powerful channel for building relationships and making sales. They have a proven offer they want to sell more of by taking their strategies and processes that are working and making them more efficient with automation.
Shared values are a must! If you believe in relationships > transactions, justice, and equality for Black and Indigenous people of color, women, trans people, and freedom for Palestine, we'll get along great. Bonus if you like dogs, Beyoncé, or both. :)
Why is that person a dream client? How would you help them?
You've binged a bunch of our content, joined our email list, maybe even jumped into Automation Club and you're already thinking about what you're going to do with all the extra time and money you'll gain from taking advantage of automation.

What’s a funny anecdote, related to your area of expertise, that you can’t believe you did (or believed)?
I was running Content Boot Camp and we had a reminder automation that sent an email each week about our coaching call.
When we turned it on, we forgot to add a wait step which caused it to start looping and my coaching clients got a BUNCH of the same reminder email at once - this was also the week I was scheduled to teach them about automation. 🤦🏾♀️
They got a great lesson about what NOT to do that week!
How would you describe MV to an online business owner who’s never heard of it?
MV is a home for all your gated content, free or paid for your course, membership, community, group program, or 1 on 1 clients. If it's important and you want your audience to easily access it while also being able to track engagement, MV is the place to put it!
Aside from being great software that keeps getting better, it's run by people who have great values and are truly community-minded in their approach to everything, which makes it a joy to support.
What made you decide to use MV? Why do you keep using MV?
I was a developer and had built learning management systems for myself and my clients. I just wanted to create content and not have to keep up with technology. I love how open and responsive the MV team is and that they're constantly improving the software.
What frustrates or annoys you about using MV?
Having to manually add title tags to links every time.
