Welcome Everyone. I'm Remi from Team MV, I'm the user success Lead here at MemberVault. And that basically means I am here to help you guys have the most amount of success using the MemberVault platform.
In this mini series that we are doing, we are putting together some interviews with some of our paid members and member votes so that they can come and share behind the scenes and give you some insights and how they're running their either their one to one offers or their membership offers.
So we want to give you a little sneak behind the scenes and hear from real customers and what they are doing and how they are using the platform. And we're doing this because there are many different ways that you can use MemberVault.
And hopefully this will give you some ideas and some inspiration about what you can build inside of your MemberVault. So today I'm joined by Quiana J and Quiana J runs a business called bHer so she set up a lovely business on MemberVault. Hi Quiana J. How are you today?

Hello. I'm so excited to be here.

Oh, we’re so thankful to have you. So thank you for giving us some time today and being with us, we really appreciate it. How long have you been using MemberVault?
Quiana J
I tried to actually see that moment. And I want to say 2020 I became a paid user, which means maybe 2019.
Remi Oduyemi
Okay, so you're a veteran? We like that. And who do you mostly work with? On your member vote? And who do you serve in your business?
Quiana J
So I serve emerging entrepreneurs who are launching faith based brands. I do a lot of the brand development and tech integration and the brand design and all of that good stuff. So yeah, I love it.
Remi Oduyemi
Amazing. And how do you mostly like to work? Is it one to one? Is it in the membership style? How do you prefer to work in your business?
Quiana J
I really love one to one, but I do have memberships and communities and different things like that, but one on one is my preferred. Definitely
Remi Oduyemi
Amazing. And what tech tools do you use alongside member vote to really create that quality, customer experience?
Quiana J
I will say and I'm all about systems, I think is the most important thing. And
Remi Oduyemi
we are like we are so similar.
Quiana J
I love systems. I'm all about just, you know, being able to eat my sandwich and get notifications. And so I was definitely saved with MemberVault. I've connected acuity scheduling. Definitely. I use Trello behind the scenes. And also just zoom to be honest, the zoom and the acuity scheduling integration works really, really well for me.
Remi Oduyemi
Yeah, I'm a massive fan of Trello as well and zoom, as well. So yeah, I totally relate with those.
And do you have any specific tools that connect into MemberVault that you use? What email do you use?
Quiana J
Um, I use mailer light. Okay, I love mailer light. I don't know how I forgot about that. Because acuity scheduling has been like, so such a blessing. But mailer light has also been a blessing, being able to integrate actions and be able to send out automated sequence email. So absolutely,
Remi Oduyemi
Yeah. And that's great for building that kind of customer relationship, isn't it and welcoming people in and you know, sending them emails if you need to update them? Or if they've done things and they want to reward them. So that's absolutely brilliant. And can you tell us a bit more about your one to one offer that you use on them before? And how you set that up?
Quiana J
Yes, so one to one I have, I knew that NV had the opportunity for you to onboard clients. And I've always been looking at it and I'm like, Man, I really need to build this out. Because I am doing a consistent framework with not wanting one on one clients, I even built it into a digital course so that other people can know how to brand themselves. Right. And so once I had did that, I was like I literally have my thoughts down in a process on how I can onboard my clients. I literally took probably a full week losing sleep, like not eating meals because I was so dedicated that I wanted this so bad. And I really just built out all of the modules and the stages and you know the processes and you know the different workbooks and tools and different things like that. Um, I can also share what that looks like. Yes, please.

That would be lovely. Yeah, if you want to go ahead and do screenshare, screenshare, I think that'd be really useful. Awesome. See?

I'm actually signed in as me, you know, as a test user, shall I say with my own account, but this experience when they have access to it, they can actually come in here now. I put in that a part of their package, they get to actually join the society. So it's a special coupon that I actually put into this. So they would know automatically what that is. And then I had built in my schedule, that's why I love acuity scheduling, because they get to embed your calendar. So they don't have to figure it out. I don't have to try to navigate a calendar, I tell them just book your next session. And let's roll. It's amazing.
And then it has all of the different sessions that we actually have an event and every session is pretty much the same. But it lets them know what we're going to be covering in that session, the workbook, and then action items. And I love MV because you can customize to their name like my clients were really wowed by that moment. Like oh, it recognizes me I love how detailed and customize it is. So of course my name is Quiana and I'm signed in as myself, but let's say Remi, it would say Remi homework. So it just puts in there what they need to do. And also mine. So there are certain stages where my homework starts to become a moment. Yeah. And then it's even I've used the questions area, the quiz section, to actually have them be able to submit chunks of information that I need when I go to develop the brand, officially, like the website or social media templates, or whatever. So I use their language to kind of build that out.
So by the time we have a content mapping, you know, opportunity, we have really everything that we've talked about all in one place. So I really manipulated the quiz section to ask questions and to gather feedback. And when number roll rolled out the file upload that made it a game changer. Like yes, because now I can get photos of inspiration for their color palette, or, you know, documents, if it's like a long chunk of content, I can get that from them or, you know, they can put in links if they wanted to, like everything came really together, when they started to just roll out. That's what keeps me memorable. They just quickly roll out features almost faster than other business tool I'm with. So..

Could you just go back to that one minute, because there's just something I wanted to just point out, which I think is really good, where you got the learning outcomes at the top. I love that because I'm not seeing that in many people's MB is actually where by, you know, people are going in and they're working through the models, modules, but being told, this is what you're going to learn this is the outcome. I think that's a really nice touch. And I love how you got the downloads in there. So they got their workbook and their PDF, all in one space, and then their action items and what they need to do next. And the questions in the quiz and the way you've integrated that into it just looks so smooth and seamless. I think you've designed this really beautifully.

Thank you. I'm really enjoying it. I've been able to go through to clients thus far. Yeah, with it, and they are enjoying it. One of the things that I and I put it on progressive, so they can't just move along. Kinda like they have to submit something in order to have the like, maybe

Like, Oh, yeah. It's brilliant. I think this I think you've laid this out really, really nicely. And you've used all the features, you know, using? Oh, it's so good. Alright, I'll let you carry on.

That's pretty much the extent of how each session is pretty much laid out. Um, yeah, like I just tried to lead them through a journey, even towards the end, like after you have your last session. What else would you Where would you want to take that customer next, you know, so I kind of have, you know, make it official checklists on, you know, what other things that entrepreneurs don't think about a business tools, you know, I have my most recommended business tools, I have links to all the ones that are affiliates. So you can think about that as well, there's more opportunity for them to for you to get a little income from them signing up with tools that you present it to them. So

Absolutely. And I'm just looking so Quiana posted in our collaborative group, a list of things that she's included inside of her memory vault and her one to one offer. And I'm just gonna recap some of these because I think they're really powerful. So being able to upload PDFs and workbooks and worksheets to create learning outcomes for your customers. So they're clear about what the learning outcome is going to be is brilliant. I love how you manipulated the quiz section and made it your own. And it's like a nice little homework area where they go off and do the homework, putting in links to different things and like you say potentially links to different tech tools. So or affiliate links, you can earn money from inside of your member if you're recommending people, you've integrated your scheduling app your your booking calendar as well. And then you've got both This module. So next level resources for people to use and take as well. And I think I think you've just created something that's really, really special. And I think is going to inspire a lot of our users as well. Wow, really, really good. Thank you so much for sharing that with us and your memorable account. My final question for you is, how, as a business owner, have you found using envy yourself? Was it easy? Was it hard, you enjoy it? What do you like? What don't you like? And then also, what feedback have you had from your users about coming in and using the member bolt platform?

Oh, man, so I thought it was gonna be a learning curve when I first signed on.
But note that at the time I did it, I did it as a free account, I was like, let me check this out.
Also, note, I am a high tech person, I love technology, I will try to break it and do it manipulated with all that I can and what I have the power to do. And so if you're not techie, you may not even resonate with this, but it was very easy for me to learn this, this business tool, and I'm a person that likes to literally go through every single opportunity and feature, and then, you know, start with something and then build as I go.
So I have found it to be really, really easy. I mean, I literally promote this platform to a lot of people, all of my clients, definitely. Because of the growth of the features that kind of rolls out and you get to be at the grassroots with the founders, you know, and the MVP team and be like, Hey, we would love to see this. And you actually see them implement it. You know, Mike Kelly is so amazing at this, I don't know how he does this, you know, you kind of feel like you're a family with them, and you kind of feel like you have stock in it. So it makes you loyal to it because they are so in tune.
Their staff, you know, like you, Remi, y'all are actually highly engaged in this community that we do not get anywhere else. And so it makes you commit, you know, even with the rollout of the price is still like I'm here, doesn't matter, because it will be hard for me to find anything else. Because this sold me like the way the community sells the price. The community sells the platform, because you just don't get it everywhere else.
And there's so many ideas that come in the community that you're like, Oh, this is like a gold mine. You know, so my clients have enjoyed, because I have digital courses. And I have other you know, freebies and different things like that. They love it. Because if I go to rollout something else, it's not a whole nother login, it just appears and they're already, you know, a member of this, this space type of opportunity. So at the end, even when they rolled out that you could actually have, what did you call it, it's like the log where you can actually send out just push alerts at the top, so they know that you're sending messages, like all of it is for the customer experience. Yeah. And so the customer, my customers are definitely like, Oh, I love this. I love that I find it anywhere else, I get what I need. And it's just all user friendly. So yeah,
