What is a recurring revenue offer you've tried in the past (or currently) that you really didn't like? Why?

I have gone to market with offers that were underpriced AND difficult to deliver. Mostly done-for-you design offers that took FAR longer to complete than I anticipated.

It's easy to SAY "fail forward" but it's very hard to experience. And it gets easier but that OUCH factor never goes away. The fear of disappointing people is real. But so too is burnout. So it's really REALLY important to retire offers that feel unsustainable. Resilience matters.

In your opinion, what is the biggest element for success with the type of recurring revenue offer/deep dive you shared in your session?

I think the biggest element for success with the type of recurring revenue offer I shared in my session (content based membership) is to speak with and listen to clients as often as possible. This is the best way to know what to build next. And clients who feel seen, heard, and valued are less likely to churn away too! Win-win.

What's an "oops!" that has happened during creating and/or running your recurring revenue offer(s)?

My big oops! moment was initially underpricing my VIP membership tier, which made it painful to deliver and impossible to scale. But I also believe in the launch-and-learn approach to innovation, so this was a good lesson overall.

What do you wish your current tool, whether it's MemberVault or something else, had to help you with your recurring revenue offer?

I wish that Kajabi allowed for control over the content that each individual member has access to, based on tier and subscription date.

What tool do you currently use to deliver your offers, ie MemberVault, Teachable, etc? What do you like best? What things frustrate you, overall?

I use Kajabi and Shopify to deliver my offers but have recently become a lifetime MemberVault client. So that is where I will be building my next offers.

How would you describe MemberVault to someone who has never heard of it?
